IPIECA, working with its association member, ARPEL (Regional association of oil and natural gas companies in Latin America and the Caribbean), held a successful workshop on Global climate policy developments: Exploring the potential impacts to the international oil and gas industry, on 9-10 March in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The workshop invited industry participants to review and discuss a range of topics from the international United Nations negotiations, sectoral approaches, financing and carbon markets, as well as a range of regional policies from around the world. The workshop concluded with a roundtable discussion on the implications for our industry. All presentations are available on the event page.
